For a prototype that confirms an item was saved, first make the confirmation clear without audio. Then compare a restrained tactile cue with silence and repeated playback. Note whether it masks speech or becomes irritating after several actions. Use only a recording whose scope and permissions have been confirmed, and keep the cue removable from the experience.

Does 24-bit WAV establish loudness or permission for every use?

It identifies a listed audio format and bit depth, not consistent perceived loudness or a universal license. Confirm the sample rate, channel layout, preview availability and permitted uses. Audition each sound in context and keep the applicable license with the project rather than assuming all recordings share the same restrictions.

How should I choose a texture for an interface response?

Begin with the response's purpose and duration. Compare a few sounds at a comfortable level, checking whether the cue is distinct without becoming distracting through repetition. Do not rely on sound alone to communicate an essential state; retain an understandable visual or textual indication.
