For a twenty-second film about opening a studio, map arrival, preparation and the first act of making. Give each beat an essential visual and a sound purpose, then identify an alternative shot if the room is too noisy. Review a rough sequence against the promised feeling before spending time on decorative transitions.

How is the story worksheet different from the shot list?

The story worksheet tracks what changes for the viewer; the shot list identifies the images and sounds needed to communicate that progression. Develop the story first, then map each beat to a practical capture. A visually interesting shot still needs a job in the sequence.

Does the notebook supply footage, music or an editing template?

No. Its stated scope is written planning material and CSV, including the treatment outline, story worksheet and review checklist. It does not supply third-party reference rights or native editing-project files. Confirm any separately required assets and applications through their own sources.

Planning film and interview work

Are footage, music or recorded interviews included?

No. These products contain original planning documents and exercises. You supply or arrange the recordings and confirm the rights and permissions needed for any music, images or other material used in the finished work.

Which tool should I start with for an interview-led film?

Use the Interview Story Map to prepare questions and index what the conversation supports. Use the Film Treatment Notebook to turn that material into a visual and sound sequence. The tools cover related but different parts of the process.

Will the transcript index generate a transcript?

No. It organizes an existing transcript or your own timecoded notes. Check excerpts against the original recording, especially when shortening them could remove a qualification or change the speaker's meaning.
