Replace the object, inspect scale and contact, then adjust lighting to explain the new surface. Test the join between the last and first frames. Confirm project compatibility and licensed resources before making the scene part of a client handoff.

Will the Blender scene reproduce on another workstation?

Confirm the Blender version, render engine, fonts, plugins and external resources before relying on the scene. Blender documents that not all external data can be packed. Open a delivery copy and render a short section on the intended setup; a playable MP4 does not prove the editable project is portable.

Can I change the product without rebuilding the lighting?

A different object's size, shape and surface can change the usefulness of an existing lighting setup. Treat the supplied scene as a starting point rather than a universal replacement system. Inspect intersections, reflections and framing after substitution, then compare a restrained test before committing to a full render.
