Caption & Access Kit

Creava Editorial$18 USD

Bring accessibility questions into the production plan instead of leaving them for export day. Map spoken content, meaningful non-speech sound, on-screen text and image descriptions. The kit supports an intentional editorial review; it is not an automatic compliance checker.

Inside the scope

  • Caption content and timing worksheet
  • Image-description prompts
  • On-screen text review sheet
  • Audio-only and sound-off review checklist
  • Accessibility issue tracker
Watch once without sound and once without looking at the screen. Note which essential information is lost in each pass, then plan the caption, description or editorial change that restores it.

Compatibility & delivery

Text and CSV worksheets. Captions must be reviewed in the intended publishing platform; no automated caption-generation service is provided.

Editorial production aids, without certification or a guarantee of conformance.

This page provides scope information and a text preview. Listed files or individual review sessions are not automatically delivered by saving a selection.

PRODUCT IN CONTEXT / CREAVA EDITORIAL

A closer look at the fit.

A working situation

For a short product explanation, map essential meaning across narration, on-screen text and images. Review captions with sound off, then ask what the visual sequence communicates that the words do not. Record missing context, crowded text and platform cropping as separate issues. Recheck the published version after corrections and retain the remaining limitations in the review log.

Should captions contain every audible background detail?

Include the speech and non-speech information needed to understand the content, with useful timing and speaker identification where relevant. Do not overload the display with irrelevant descriptions. W3C's caption guidance helps distinguish meaningful audio information from decoration; review the result in the actual publishing environment.

Does completing the tracker certify a post as accessible?

No. The kit supports an editorial review and issue record; it does not provide automated captioning or a comprehensive accessibility assessment. Record what you actually checked, what you corrected and what needs specialist testing. Verify the uploaded output rather than treating the worksheet as proof of universal usability.

Writing, captions and social sequences

Does the carousel kit include native design templates?

The package contains story patterns, copy worksheets and layout specifications in editable text. Native Canva, Figma and Adobe files are not included. Use the specifications as a planning reference in your preferred design tool.

Will the accessibility checklist certify my content?

No. It supports an editorial review of reading size, captions, descriptions and information that depends on one sensory channel. It does not replace a complete accessibility evaluation or guarantee conformance.

Can a brand voice stay consistent across a launch post and a support reply?

Yes, while the tone changes for the reader's situation. Use the same underlying principles, such as clear next steps and familiar language, but reduce promotional energy when someone needs help resolving a problem.
