A working situation

For a small tabletop image set, first align exposure and neutral appearance across the selected views. Try the warm-neutral recipe on a copy, then compare labels, surfaces and background together at delivery size. Reduce the treatment if it makes the object appear to change finish between images; consistency serves the product description better than an exaggerated look.

Are these recipes installable presets?

No. They are written adjustment sequences and evaluation sheets, not LUT, XMP, DNG or application preset files. Apply the ideas manually in an editor with suitable controls, compare against the original and adapt to the image rather than expecting a single numeric recipe to fit every camera.

What should I check before applying a warmer treatment?

Inspect exposure, neutral references and how the document's colour profile is interpreted. In Photoshop, assigning a profile and converting a profile are different operations; neither should be used blindly to chase a look. Preserve a reference copy and judge whether important skin or material characteristics remain believable.

Are the Color Recipes downloadable Lightroom presets or LUTs?

They are written adjustment recipes and comparison exercises, not XMP, DNG or LUT files. The description deliberately distinguishes a manual starting approach from an application preset that can be installed.

Can I use the shot planner with a phone?

Yes. The planning exercises focus on light, subject position, reflection control and a useful image sequence. Use the camera controls available on your phone and review the results at the size where the images will be published.

Does the Texture Direction Workbook include texture images?

No. It contains observation prompts, comparison exercises and a structure for annotating references. Any photographs, scanned materials or third-party references you add need their own appropriate permissions.
